User roles for payment gateway

Overview

This is a guide for the payment gateway admin user or account owner to understand what permissions should be assign to the different users in the company. This prevents users from giving out unwarranted permissions. Only country finance manager or above can have the admin or full financial role to keep the payment gateway account safe.

Finance

Admin/Account Owner

The admin/account owner has extensive permissions for accounts, reports, and risk, including full API key and user role management. This user can manage account settings, financial role, payment methods, risk configurations, and dispute materials, submit documents for the Account contract. The user also has access to all generic reports.

Tips and Tricks

We are using different payment gateways in different markets. Each payment gateway may have different naming of different roles, for instance, transactions=payments; dispute=resolution center and etc. Please choose the corresponding role wisely as the above table accordingly.
