To Create Accounts on Customers’ Behalf

No Old SC#

We can also help customers to create accounts on their behalf if customers really can’t do it by themselves and they authorized us to do that for them.

  • Please ask for customers’ permissions before you use their info to create accounts.

Step 1: Login to Production BM → Click “Merchant Tools” → Click “Customers” under “Customers” section

Step 2: Click “New”

Step 3: You will see the form. Please fill in the below info --

Step 3.1 - Customer Credentials
Enabled: tick
Login: input customers email address (that will be used for login)
Customer No: Click “Generate”
Passord: Click “Generate”

Step 3.2 - Profile Attributes
Salutation: Fill in Mr / Mrs / Ms
First Name: Fill in customer’s first name
Last Name: Fill in customer’s last name
Gender: Select Male or Female
Email: Input the same email for login

Step 3.3 - Phone Numbers
Home Phone: Input customer’s mobile number. For SG, please follow the format as +65-9xxx-xxx / +65-8xxx-xxx
Mobile Phone: Same as Home Phone, just copy

Step 3.4 - Oracle CRM
SC# generation required: tick this box if customers are new to our Star Card membership (i.e. no old SC#) or SG residents but holding Brunei SC# (4209. Backend link card action might be needed)

Step 4: Click “Apply”. Done!

Step 5: You can copy the password generated in Step 3.1 and send it to the customer; and/or ask the customer to directly click the “forgot password” in the login page to set the password they like.

With existing SC#

Same steps as above for Step 1 to Step 3.3. The difference will be from Step 3.4.

Step 3.4 - Oracle CRM
Star Card No: Input the SC# that customer currently has.

  • Please also make sure that the

email & phone number you entered on the previous steps are matching with the SC membership.

Step 4: Click “Apply”. Done!

Step 5: You can copy the password generated in Step 3.1 and send it to the customer; and/or ask the customer to directly click “forgot password” in the login page to set the password they like.
